MacDougall & Co offer a full taxation and accounting service to the self employed, small businesses and limited companies. We deal with the UK tax affairs of a very wide cross section of people and businesses.

We are small, fast, friendly and efficient. We know what it is like to run a small business, because we are one ourselves.

The role that we are most often asked to adopt is to:

    Act as a buffer between our client and the Inland Revenue
    Minimise our client's tax liability
    Provide tax advice and guidance
    Deal with the relevant paperwork (Inland Revenue and/or Registrar of Companies)
    Ensure that our client's tax liability is correct
    Submit the financial accounts and annual returns to the Registrar of Companies (for limited companies)
However, we adapt our role to meet the needs of your business.


Before carrying out your accounting and/or tax work, we discuss your requirements with you, and tell you what the cost will be. We will also advise you how to keep the cost of our fees down. This is free.

We do the work when you would like it done.

We invoice when the work is ready for submission to the Inland Revenue, unless we have agreed otherwise. Payment may be made by cheque, cash, internet transfer, or monthly standing order.
