Child Tax Credit - Income Limits We can sort out your tax for as little as £100 (fully inclusive). The income limit for Child Tax Credit, (unlike the old Children's Tax Credit), is based on the combined income - not just on the income of the higher earner. The rules are complex, but very approximately you continue to receive some CTC until you reach one of two cut off points: Just over £58,000, or Just over £66,000 in the year of birth of a baby.
These figures will change from year to year and from person to person (depending upon financial circumstances).
Always get up-to-date advice from a suitably qualified person... and, as always, please don't forget to read our craftily worded disclaimer. Return to previous page.
