Accreditations

The practitioner, Raibeart MacDougall CTA FMAAT RSA Cert TEFL ATT, was articled to Chartered Accountants in the City of London and Stevenage. He worked in the UK and abroad before returning to St Albans in 1980 and starting in taxation practice.

Staying up to date with taxation issues has never been more important than it is today. In 1998 Raibeart retrained and qualified as an associate member of the ATT. In 2005 Raibeart qualified as an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, considered the "gold standard" tax qualification in the UK, and joined The Confederation Fiscale Europeene.

Training: Raibeart spends the equivalent of over three whole working weeks a year (over 120 hours) simply retraining, to stay up to date with tax legislation, concession, and statute, as well as accounting requirements and convention. He takes great pride in staying up to date and in offering the best possible tax advice. To this end, in 2006 he joined the The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Tax Faculty.
